Here's how it looks
Journeys, stamps, and rewards you approve
Parents set the shelf. Kids check in, then leave. When a book is finished, you OK the stamp and the reward.
What Blonella is—and isn't
Reading on paper. A short app check-in. Rewards you control.
It is
- A parent-run reading habit geared towards ages 5–17
- Journeys and shelves you choose together
- A short kid check-in, then back to the book
- Real rewards you define—when you approve a finish
It isn't
- Not a social network, feed, or messaging app
- Not streaks, points, or leaderboards
- Not a place to read on-screen or buy as a kid
- Not Goodreads, StoryGraph, or an AI chatbot
How it works
Shelf → check-in → stamp. The adventure stays on paper.
You set the shelf
Pick a curated journey or add books yourself. Geared towards ages 5–17—picture books through teen novels.
Kids check in, then leave
Under thirty seconds. No feed, no streaks, nothing built to keep them scrolling.
You approve the reward
When a book is finished, you OK it. Then the stamp lands—and any reward you set can follow.

Why it exists
Built at our kitchen table
I wanted my daughter to love books—every reading app wanted her on a screen instead. So we built Blonella for our family: journeys, a quick check-in, rewards we set. The habit stuck. Now it's open to other families.
